Welcome to Powlett River Primary School

Powlett River Primary School is on Bunurong Country. Located in Dalyston, 9 kilometres from the township of Wonthaggi, and 90km from Melbourne. We are a small Victorian Government school.

Our school values are Community, Individuality, Safety, Respect and Growth. Set in large grounds the school boasts historic and modern classrooms and facilities. The school has a dedicated music room, a library, large hall and an art room. As well as buildings for OSHC and playgroup. The grounds feature three playgrounds, Learning Stone, large sandpit, vegetable gardens, bush track, and outdoor learning areas.
